We Are Still Optimistic but Decided to Take the Profit

In the last two days, solar stocks are soaring due to upbeat results from Enphase Energy and stock price of First Solar reached our near term target price. We decided to exit the trade.
Most probably, First Solar didn’t sell Japan projects, and that will negatively impact its EPS. While we admire the company for not compromising delivering the long-term value for the shareholders, investors may be disappointed.
